Rubella IgG ( German Measles)
This test is used to measure if antibodies against Rubella have been created in the body. The presence of rubella antibodies in the blood indicates that a person either has the disease or has previously had the disease or that they have been vaccinated against the disease. A rubella blood test is commonly performed as part of an immunization screening and for women who are pregnant or want to become pregnant to determine the risk for rubella.
Test results may take 1-3 business days.
