If you or your partner have any of these symptoms it is important to get tested immediately. Even if you are not exhibiting symptoms but you are sexually active it is important to monitor your sexual health with regular testing. Some STDs such as Chlamydia and Herpes can generate no symptoms, especially in women. Testing for STDs is also not part of an woman's annual gynecological exam.
