Trichomoniasis
Trichomoniasis is an infection caused by a parasitic protozoan. It infects more than 3.7 million Americans (62% women), every year. While most do not show symptoms, others start noticing signs 5 to 28 days post exposure. It is a highly curable infection that should be diagnosed early. Untreated trichomoniasis can lead to many health conditions such as cervical cancer and infertility.
