Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin
The Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulins (TSI) test measures autoantibodies produced by the immune system that mimic the role of TSH by telling the thyroid gland to become more active, therefore, causing excess secretion of T4 and T3. Levels of this immunoglobulin (IgG) will be abnormally high in individuals with Graves' disease.
