High and Low Risk HPV with Genotyping-Anal
This discreet at home test kit may be used to detect High and Low Risk HPV infections with specific genotyping through an anal swab. This test will detect over 40 high and low risk viruses to provide a comprehensive test of HPV genotypes. HPV or Human Papillomavirus is a very common infection especially in sexually active people.
High Risk Subtypes: Known to cause cancer and are associated with development of malignant tumors in the anogenital tracts or oropharynx.
- Types include: 16, 18, 26, 31, 33, 34, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 58, 56, 59, 66, 67, 68, 70, 73, 82
Possible High Risk Subtypes: Genetically similar to High Risk Viruses and have been found in malignant tumors occasional.
- Types include: 30, 64, 69
Low Risk Subtypes: May cause benign growths on the skin, but lack genetics to cause malignant tumors.
- Types include: 6, 11, 32, 40, 42, 43, 44, 54, 55, 61, 62, 71, 72, 74, 75, 77, 80, 81, 83, 84, 89
Possible Low Risk Subtypes: Exact risk classification is not verified by the World Health Organization at this time, however these viruses may be categorized as low risk viruses.
