Hemoglobin A1C, Blood Spot
The HgA1C blood test, also known as glycated hemoglobin or A1C, is a test that measures the average amount of glucose (blood sugar) over the past 2-3 months, in order to screen for diabetes or monitor existing diabetes. Individuals with diabetes need to do this test regularly to monitor their levels.
Two dried blood spot circles should be filled in for this test.
