The Glycohemoglobin blood test is used to diagnose and monitor diabetes by measuring the average blood glucose level over the past two to three months. The glycohemoglobin level for a healthy adult should be less than 7.3%. Adults with diabetes often have normal Glycohemoglobin levels below 9%.
