A physician order is an authorization for you to have lab testing performed. It’s similar to a doctor providing a prescription for medication. This step is needed because some states require that a licensed medical doctor authorize laboratory tests.

Certain states have restrictions on how laboratory tests may be ordered. Unfortunately it is not our decision, but the laws of each state that allow us to sell tests or not sell testing there.

Once you purchase your test, your request will be automatically routed to an independent third-party physician network. No additional action is required on your part. An email will also be sent to you with the requisition ( physician order) information.

For positive results of Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Trichomoniasis, or HSV 2 a free physician consultation will be provided by one of our third party physicians as well as a prescription if deemed  necessary.  If there is a positive result for one of the 4 STDs you will receive a call from a Client Services Team Member from PWN. Once you have received that call, you may decide if you would like to have the consultation with a PWN physician or seek treatment elsewhere . If you choose to have the free consultation, the physician will attempt to contact you three times. After that you must seek treatment on your own.

This requires a "Medical Release Consent" form. You can request one of these forms by emailing us (info@healthtestingcenters.com).However, we generally tell patients it's much easier to simply login to your Health testing Centers account and download the results. then forward to your physician via email, fax or hard copy.  We are happy to do send them for you, you'll just need to complete the authorization form, send it back, and then we'll send your results.

You may go to any Laboratory PSC as long as it is a LabCorp or Quest Diagnostic location. NOTE: Your requisition must match the laboratory you are going to as the order is not interchangeable between labs.

Our orders are sent directly to the laboratories system.  If you'd like to add or make changes to the tests  you've ordered, we'll need to cancel the original order and make a new one.  Give us a call at 877-511-5227 and we'll be able to help make the necessary changes.

No, Health Testing Centers tests are paid for by you and we do not bill your insurance.

 

Orders can be canceled up to 6 months from your date of purchase, as long as you have not visited the lab for sample collection. You may cancel your order by calling our customer service team at 1-877-511-5227. 

If you have already provided samples for testing, we cannot cancel your order or refund your payment. Testing will be completed and results will be available in your Health Testing Centers account.

Health Testing Centers accepts HSA or FSA cards with a VISA® or MasterCard® logo.  Please contact your benefits provider to verify plan rules and eligible expenses.

If you don't see it on our website, feel free to call us at 877-511-5227 and ask if we can order it. There are many tests we are not able to order, but some we can make requests for.

No additional payments are due at the lab.

You can visit the lab once you have received the email that includes your lab requisition number. This number is needed for your sample collection.

Visit our Lab Locator to find a sample collection site. Please remember to visit the lab you selected when placing your order (either LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics).

Note: Health Testing Centers services are not available in all states.

It depends on the test. Some tests, like the lipid panel, require a 10-hour fasting period. When fasting is required, only black coffee (no cream or sweetener) and water are permitted.  Some tests have other special instructions, which are noted on the description of each test.

No, but scheduling your visit in advance may minimize your wait time. Making an appointment is especially helpful when you are fasting overnight.

You are not required to make an appointment. Lab's welcomes walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.

A laboratory fee is applied to your total when you purchase one or more lab tests. This fee is $10, regardless of the number of tests purchased.

We will notify you by email when your results are ready.  You can then sign in to your Health Testing Centers account to view and download your result reports.  

Most results are available within 1-2 business days from the time that you visited the lab. Some tests can take longer.

Your requisition number is valid for 6 months from the date it was generated. If you wish to have your testing done after the 6 months, we can issue a new requisition form for a $15 fee. We can not reissue a new requisition number if the order is over a year old.

No. All customers must be 18 years or older.

Yes, results will only be provided to you and the ordering physician.  You can print your results and give a copy to any healthcare providers you may visit.

You may purchase a test for someone else, however each patient must use a unique email address for the order.

Health Testing Centers tests require payment upfront by credit card or PayPal®.
