The Health Testing Centers STD Testing Packages combines the following blood tests for common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) providing you the peace of mind that you need:

HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is generally transmitted through unprotected sex, contaminated needles, breast milk, and from an infected mother to her baby at birth. According to the CDC, it is estimated that 1.2M people in the US have HIV/AIDS with approximately 25% being unaware of their infection.

If you are concerned that you have recently been exposed to an STD, it is important to get tested quickly. Recent exposure STD testing can detect an STD at as little as 28 days from exposure. Early detection through recent exposure STD testing can can be critical leading to faster treatment and peace of mind.

Hepatitis B is a contagious disease that can range in severity from a mild illness lasting a few weeks to a serious, lifelong illness. Hepatitis B infection can occur through sexual contact or sharing needles / syringes.

Genital herpes is an STD caused by the two types of herpes simplex virus (HSV). Herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) typically causes oral herpes, an infection of the lips and mouth, that is commonly known as cold sores or fever blisters. Historically Herpes simplex 1 has not been known to cause genital herpes, but this is changing, especially among sexually active young people. Nonetheless, genital herpes is generally caused herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2). The herpes simplex virus is transmitted by direct contact with a sore or the body fluid of an infected individual

Syphilis is is a common STD passed through vaginal, anal, or oral sex. The symptoms of syphilis are numerous and often indistinguishable from those of other diseases. If untreated, syphilis can cause irreversible damage to the brain, heart, eyes, bones, nerves, and other body tissues. In some cases damage from syphilis can be fatal. Fortunately, syphilis can generally be treated with antibiotics, including penicillin.

Hepatitis C is typically spread through bodily fluids and is often asymptomatic. It is important to catch Hepatitis C early as once it is established it can lead to liver damage or even liver failure. It is estimated that nearly 200 million people are infected with hepatitis C.

Chlamydia is the most reported bacterial STD in the US. Chlamydia can be transmitted via vaginal, oral, or anal sex. The majority of people infected with the disease have no symptoms and only discover the infection through STD testing. If you are sexually active you could be infected with chlamydia and the risk increases with your number of sex partners.

Gonorrhea is a bacteria that can grow in the reproductive tract and in the urethra as well as the anus, mouth, throat, and eyes. Gonorrhea also goes undetected and is asymptomatic in 10% of infected males and 50% of infected females. Gonorrhea if untreated can cause serious problems in both women and men.
